Relief Printing is the oldest form of printmaking. This course is designed to teach students how to "think print" while carving away at a linoleum block, then how to use that block to make two-color prints and/or handmade greeting cards. Students will leave the class with a working knowledge of linoleum carving, printing techniques and a small portfolio of prints with their own linoleum block.
